The EIC Model™ Environment as an Integrating Context for improving student learning |
SEER's Technical Support Following EIC Model™ Institutes The success of a school’s EIC Model™ Program is increased when on-going technical support is incorporated into the schools’ implementation plans. Ideally, this support comes from both SEER staff and a state or local EIC Model™ Coach. Each EIC Model™ school team is encouraged to identify a coach who will be able to meet regularly with the team to help them: discover their collective assets, talents, dreams, and values; identify what is most important; explore new ideas; create additional support mechanisms; and, engage in thoughtful discussions. EIC Model™ Coaches may come from a variety of community partners including universities, educational institutions, resource management agencies, businesses, and community organizations. Depending on the specific arrangements, SEER staff will be available to provide technical support for implementing school sites and school districts. |
